Wise Ones Physio Clinic Policies
This clinic is out-of-network.
I do not accept insurance, including Medicare, and have no interaction with any insurance providers. For a detailed explanation, check out the FAQs page. If you need to go through insurance, please visit the resources page for a list of local clinics that provide insurance-covered therapy services.
Cancellations and Timeliness
Life happens—I get it. All I ask is that you respect my time, and I’ll do the same for you. Please try not to cancel without notice and arrive on time for your appointments. Let’s avoid cancellation fees, missed appointments, or turning anyone away because of tardiness.
That said, I might occasionally need to reschedule. If that happens, I’ll do my best to give you plenty of notice and ensure you’re not left hanging. I’ll also let you know if I’m running late and make sure you get every minute of your scheduled session.
Let’s agree to respect each other’s time. Simple, right?
Chaperones, Recordings, and Transparency
You are welcome to bring a support person (human*), record sessions, take notes, or do whatever you need to feel comfortable. Physical therapy can be a vulnerable process, especially when addressing chronic pain and personal issues.
If you plan to record, just let me know so I can ensure clarity in my communication. I’ll also provide a handwritten summary of each session, including your homework. Visit notes are always available upon request.
If something feels unclear or uncomfortable, please speak up. I’m committed to listening, adapting, and working with you and your care team to provide the best possible treatment.
All treatments will be thoroughly explained and performed with your explicit verbal and written consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
*Please note: Pets and emotional support animals (ESAs) are not permitted on the property due to building management rules. Service animals are always welcome.
Mask Policy
Masks are required in the clinic. This policy isn’t up for debate—it’s about protecting you and your loved ones. For the latest evidence on COVID-19 and masking, check the COVID-19 tab on the resources page. The pandemic isn’t over, and staying informed can make a difference.
Active Participation in Your Care
I’m here to guide and collaborate with you, not to passively “fix” you. Your success depends on your active participation. Together, we’ll develop a sustainable plan to manage your pain long-term, but I can’t do it alone.
I’ll be fully invested in your care—and I expect you to match that effort.
Your Privacy Matters
You’ll sign a privacy consent form with your intake paperwork. If you have any questions about how your protected health information (PHI) is handled, just ask. Privacy and security are top priorities in this clinic.
